A view of Sandy Island Marine Park and the Straight of Georgia beyond was an inportant consideration in the design of this family home. The steep site called for a basement entry while the main floor living spaces access the upper yard on three sides. A masonry heater truly forms the heart of the home; between spring and fall, much of the living and dining is done outside on the expansive verandah.
