Fortunately, BC Mountain Homes offers a solution: Our stock plan customization service is a cost effective process in which you can create a custom tailored home embodying your ideas and individual requirements while taking full advantage of the opportunities of your building site.
The customization process begins with your ideas. Choose a stock plan that most closely suits your needs but requires some fine tuning to become a perfect fit, or contact us for an initial design consultation in which we will suggest suitable stock plans which best respond to your situation.
Our design team will then work closely with you to facilitate the changes to the plans and bring your vision to fruition. Our familiarity with our home designs and years of plan alteration experience allow us to integrate changes while maintaining the integrity of the original plan. Together we will determine which alterations will best respond to your requirements and prepare an estimate for the revisions.
Preliminary design changes will be presented for review and the plan modified again if necessary, before the final drawings are completed. The whole process from initial consultation to final drawings can take as little as 3 weeks, although 4-6 weeks is preferable as it allows more time to reflect on design decisions.
