The internet brought our clients Jack and Alice Harrigan to us, and permitted a fertile exchange of ideas over the next months as the design evolved. The result is a home that draws heavily from the local vernacular for its exterior forms and details, but is thoroughly modern throughout. Features include insulated concrete wall construction, a Tulikivi masonry heater, a second floor hot tub deck with view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
